Before you start
- The correct account is signed in
- The network is stable
- The device has enough free space
Steps
- Open Backup and recovery
Find the entry under Me or Settings.
- Create or inspect a backup
Follow the screen and verify the latest backup time and status.
- Check before restoring
Confirm the account, target device, and stated overwrite scope.
- Sample important content
After recovery, open several important items and check their body and attachments.
Expected result
Backup status is confirmed, or target data is available again after recovery.
Troubleshooting
- Progress is stuck: use a stable network and keep the app available.
- Unexpected content: verify the account and backup time before another overwrite.
